Becoming Saviors on Mount Zion

Today I went to this family history conference thingy at the Salt Palace with my mom, Tricia and some of the young women in my ward. They had a bunch of booths set up, then there was a speaker, then a youth panel with some youth that are already involved in family history. After that Sister Elaine Dalton came and did an amazing devotional. I love that woman, she is amazing! Afterward I was able to meet her, hug her, and talk to her for a moment. She just has the most amazing spirit!
Here are some highlights from her talk:
-Those who perform vicarious work for their kindred dead who cannot perform them for themselves.
-The Lord is calling upon the youth right now. He loves and trusts the youth.
-We are the latter day stippling warriors.
-Be quick to observe. Quick to see, quick to learn and quick to obey.
D&C 138
JSH 1:39
-Temple work is OUR work!!!
-You can't be a leader unless you are doing what you are asking others to do.
-It is better that one man perish than a whole nation dwindle in unbelief.
-We are children of the King of kings
-Family history without temples is only half the equation
1. Further discover our identity
2. Seal families together
3. Remember our own covenants
4. Celebrate temples and worthiness
5. Develop spiritual kinship with our Savior Jesus Christ and Heavenly Father
6. Be less self-centered
7. Be happier
8. Feel the Holy Ghost and spirt of Elijah
9. Keep a record
-Never permit yourself to be the weak link in the chain of your generation.
-Temple work is essential because we without them can not be made perfect, neither them without us
-The temple will be a refuge to us
-Begin with you, Invite a young man or woman to do family history work.
-A virtuous man or woman can and will change the world!
-This is no ordinary time and we are no ordinary youth!
-Make an unbreakable chain!
